In 2019, Team 359 used an elevator to help them climb(don't mind the guy in the back). The elevator is powered by NEO motors which are new(at that time) and have a lot of torque. The elevators run on 4 chains which lets the elevator go up and down quickly. The chains are coiled at the bottom. This helps the elevator go up faster. When the elevator goes up, the team put in code, so the robot can climb by its self. There are "feet" on the elevator which go up and extend to grab the railing. Then, as elevator goes down the rest of the robot goes up. This makes the robot lift off the ground. The interesting part is that the elevator takes up a lot of space which could be a potential problem.
